Call for Artists

The Yellow Springs Arts Council is calling artists for our Annual Member’s Show, January 31st – March 2nd with an Opening Reception Friday, January 31st from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. Member exhibitors are asked to please bring a dish to share at the Opening Reception.

The Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery Program empowers member artists, performers and presenters to showcase local works throughout the year. The gallery provides space (real or virtual), publicity and consultation services to presenters. The program stimulates membership for the YSAC and supports artists of multiple disciplines and experience levels in Yellow Springs and beyond. While artists are encouraged to exhibit for professional gain—including visibility, networking, and sales—our presenting artists are fundamentally motivated by a desire to enhance the community’s creative spirit through their art. This YSAC Members’ Show Application must be reviewed and signed before presenting with YSAC. Each artist may have one free entry. Each additional entry is $10.00 per entry. If there is space, an artist may have up to three entries.

The Google Form application for the Member’s Show is located here. The application deadline and art drop off is Sunday, 26 January at 3:00pm at the Arts Council.

Art drop off is as follows:

Friday, January 24th from 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Saturday, January 25th from 11:00am – 3:00pm
Sunday, January 26th from 11:00am – 3:00pm – Application deadline
